Plan 9 for Murder

English professor Annie Sinclair gives a lecture on document authentication at a UFO conference.  What could go wrong?  Murder, for one thing.  Annie and her music professor husband Charles (and their dog Asta) are drawn into a web of murder, secret documents, UFO enthusiasts, a mysterious government operative, some amateur burglary and a trip to Las Vegas’s fake Venice.   

 

This second edition of Plan 9 for Murder has a bonus at the end, the short story “Meeting with Murder,” which tells how Annie and Charles met.  After that, there’s a reprint of “The Dripping Talon,” the pulp detective story that—entirely unexpectedly—got Annie involved in Plan 9 for Murder.  Readers will particularly appreciate Annie’s annotations on the text and her commentary—in her own handwriting!
